Philippine Scenes

The jeepney is a form of public transport unique to the Philippines. Primarily a jeep left behind by the Americans after WWII they are customized and barely resemble a jeep.

Feeling adventurious I rented this fellow and his motor bike sidecar as my transport for an afternoon of sightseeing around Cebo and specifically Mactan Island, where Magellan is credited with discovering the Philippines and claiming it for Spain. The driver was friendly and probably enjoyed the sight seeing as much as I did.
